Follow the link to Amazon I supplied in a previous post. You will find out a lot about the contents of the book there.
Code:
is it a guide to program with NXC?
Yes.

It is impossible for me to anticipate your needs. Only you (and maybe not even you) know what you need  to start using NXC. So all I can say is that I think the book will be a big help.

Yes, just type "NXC" in google and you'll find out all about it.

I have just ordered a copy and I expect it to contain quite a lot more guidance than the excellent tutorial by Daniele Benedettelli

I have this book and it helped a lot. Brixcc is free and you should go to the brixcc website. it may be kinda hard to download first time I know I had problems but just keep trying.  The book was a big help and I learned a lot. It has a few robots and programs. One of my favorite sections is the game section. It has instructions for programming nxt-a-sketch and a pong game and tic-tac-toe.  It is really a good book and the back section is very usefull. It has all the functions in nXc and NBC. It has somehing like Wait(time) and then a description and then an example Wait(1000);  And it does that with every single function in nXc so that was usefull. I would recommend anyone this book if they want to learn nxc or nbc (it teaches both but i noticed there seems to be more on nxc)

BricxCC = http://bricxcc.sourceforge.net/

It is a great book, very helpful and rather interesting for those who are into expanding the capabilities of their NXT
